PASE SUMMER INSTITUTE

PROMOTING ADVANCED SCIENCE EXPLORATION THROUGH THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY

July 12-15

Registration is now closed for the 2010 PASE Summer Institute.

Are you a public middle or high school science teacher looking for in-depth training opportunities using cutting-edge technology? Could you benefit from direct access to portable scientific lab equipment designed to enhance the classroom experience for your students?

Then make plans to attend the 2010 Summer Institute at the SC Governor's School for Science and Mathematics.

What is PASE?

PASE promotes science exploration through the use of technology by putting advanced equipment in the hands of dedicated teachers and providing meaningful training that enhances classroom instruction.

Who does the PASE Summer Institute serve?

Public middle and high school teachers of the physical and biological sciences

How does PASE work?

During this week-long professional development seminar, teachers will receive in-depth training for integrating learning technologies and scientific equipment into the curriculum with engaging, challenging, hands-on labs. Summer Institute participants will get the opportunity to build relationships with other science teachers for support and will be eligible for the PASE equipment loan program during the 2010-2011 school year.
